THOMAS SCALLEN OF THE LEXINGTON RECEIVES A CELEBRATE BUSINESS SUCCESS AWARD //February 24, 2010
Thomas Scallen accepted a Celebrate Business Success Award (CBS Award) on behalf of The Lexington at the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce’s first Social Reception of 2010. Pat Plunkett, managing partner at Moore, Costello & Hart, P.L.L.P. and Susan Kratz, Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce 2010 Chair of the Board, presented the CBS Award to Mr. Scallen who has owned the legendary institution since the late 1990s. The Lexington was honored with the award for its continuing commitment to serving the Saint Paul community. Read more.

THE MCLEAN FAMILY, FOUNDERS OF THE LEXINGTON, RECEIVE A CELEBRATE BUSINESS SUCCESS AWARD //February 24, 2010
Joseph McLean accepted a Celebrate Business Success Award (CBS Award) at the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce’s first Social Reception of 2010. Pat Plunkett, managing partner at Moore, Costello & Hart, P.L.L.P. and Susan Kratz, Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce 2010 Chair of the Board, presented the CBS Award to Mr. McLean who represented The Lexington’s original founders, his grandparents Pat and Veronica McLean and their descendents. Jim Bradshaw accepted a Celebrate Business Success Award (CBS Award) before a sold-out crowd at the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce’s first Membership Meeting of 2010. ANN AND V. PHILIP REIM OF ALLIANCE BANK RECEIVE A CELEBRATE BUSINESS SUCCESS AWARD // January 27, 2010
Ann and V. Philip Reim of Alliance Bank accepted a Celebrate Business Success Award (CBS Award) at the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce’s 142nd Annual Meeting. The Reim Family and Alliance Bank were honored with the CBS Award for their strong community presence and commitment to the city of Saint Paul. Read more.

SUSAN KIMBERLY NAMED INTERIM PRESIDENT // December 22, 2009
The Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce announced today that Susan Kimberly will serve as interim President while the organization’s leadership conducts a search process to select a permanent leader in 2010. Kimberly will assume the role at the end of January and succeeds Kristofer Johnson, who announced last week he was leaving the position of President after two-and-a-half years. Read more.

SPACC PRESIDENT KRIS JOHNSON STEPS DOWN // December 16, 2009
After two-and-a-half years as President of the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce, Kristofer Johnson announced today he will be leaving the organization at the end of January 2010. The Board of Directors will immediately launch the process to find his replacement. Read more.

SPACC CHARITABLE FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES 2009 HERBIE AWARD WINNERS // April 3, 2009
The Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce Charitable Foundation today announced its selection of Mary Mackbee and Amherst H. Wilder Foundation as winners of the 2009 HERBIE award. Recipients will be honored at the Tenth Annual Charitable Foundation Luncheon on June 10, 2009. Read more.

SPACC CHARITABLE FOUNDATION RECEIVES $10,000 SCHOLARSHIP FROM LARSON KING, LLP // February 25, 2009
The Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce Charitable Foundation today announced it has received a $10,000 gift from Larson • King to help fund college tuition for a local high school senior. The contribution, which is the largest single donation in the Foundation’s history, will be administered through the Career Investment Scholarship program. Read more.
