featuring U.S. Senator Norm Coleman on Monday.
More than 175 people were on hand to hear Senator
Coleman discuss renewable energy, ag policy, next steps
in Iraq and other national political issues. The

Malinen recently started his new job as
Roseville City Manager -- taking over for Neal Beets,
who last summer moved on to a job in Federal Way,
WA. Malinen’s last job was city manager for
Lynnwood, WA. He is a St. Cloud native and St. Cloud
State University alum.

These quarterly lunches provide business people

new version of Saint Paul’s Parkland Dedication
ordinance is in the works. Currently, there are
enough changes to the ordinance that a new public
hearing will be required. It is reported that
the new version will subject all properties to
the ordinance, not just housing. Additionally, land
donation will be decreased, from 12 percent to 9
percent, and cost will no longer be determined by number
of units but rather by number of parking
