The first meeting was an opportunity for Task Force members to dialogue about what was important to their businesses and organizations. Future agendas will include discussions on what other cities similar to Saint Paul are doing in terms of ordinances, how this ordinance could interact with current and future state law and deeper conversations about defining what constitutes as sick and safe time.
We are looking forward to upcoming meetings and conversations with Task Force members. For more information check out our blog post on the scope and usage of paid sick leave.
