Questions about implementation remain. The City will be providing education for employers on how to comply, and we will update our Sick and Safe Time Resources page with that information when the City provides it.
We remain concerned that mandating paid sick and safe time offers an unworkable one-size-fits-all approach to myriad sizes and shapes of employers in Saint Paul. Minneapolis may be modifying its ordinance, so there are no clear answers yet on whether employers with employees in both cities will comply with two different ordinances.
