    EVENT DESCRIPTION
Taste of Maplewood & Friends is a community celebration of food, music, and fun! The entire family will be entertained with carnival games and rides, Radio Disney Party Patrol, Nickelodeon and Dora The Explorer, the Splatter Sisters and Walton's Petting Zoo for the kids; live music by Martin Zellar and the Hardways, GB Leighton, Rhino and Groundhouse, for the adults. Don't miss "Step Up To The Mic" youth and adult category winners as they perform on stage; hot air balloon rides, and "Heal the Soul," a 100 meter high heel race (presented by Famous Footwear) to bring awareness to domestic violence. Participants can also enjoy a variety of food from the food booths, adult beverages (provided by Maplewood/Oakdale Lions) an arts & crafts marketplace and much more.
