American Cancer Society Young Professional "Boat for a CURE"

    EVENT DESCRIPTION
Young Professionals for a CURE invite you to help fight cancer while you enjoy a sunset cruise aboard the Afton Princess on the beautiful St. Croix River. Tickets to this event are available for $45 and include a mix of hors d'oeuvres. There will be a cash bar available; prices average at $4 for beer, $6 for wine, and $5 for premium liquors. Boat for a CURE will be held at Afton-Hudson Cruise Line, docking in Afton, MN. Directions... can be found at the following link: http://www.aftonhouseinn.com/content.asp?id=175 Click on the link "map" at the top of the page for map. Check in is at 5:45 and the boat will leave the dock promptly at 6pm. After docking at 9pm, attendees are encouraged to continue the fun at Swirl Wine Bar in Afton (www.swirlmywine.com), a new wine club that offers high quality wines in a comfortable, fun and relaxed atmosphere that is far from pretentious. Swirl is within easy walking distance of the docks. Tickets can be purchased at www.acs-cure.org. All profits go to the American Cancer Society for research, education and patient services. ***DON'T WANT TO DRIVE BACK TO THE CITIES? Consider staying the night at the beautiful and historic Afton House Inn (www.aftonhouseinn.com). The Afton House Inn is located near the docks and is adjacent to Swirl Wine Bar. ****NEED TRANSPORTATION FROM MINNEAPOLIS? The Cancer Society is able to coordinate/provide transportation (likely a bus or van) for a fee if there is enough interest.
