EVENT DESCRIPTION

On Wednesday, November 14, the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce will host the Fourth Annual Chamber Honors Gala, a red-carpet, black-tie optional event.

Five local businesses will be honored with Deubener Awards for outstanding achievement and three individuals whose leadership and volunteerism merit praise from our community will be recognized. The evening will include complimentary valet service, hand-passed hors d’oeuvres, entertainment, good conversation and a champagne toast honoring our award recipients! About the Deubener Awards:
In honor of Walter & Lydia Deubener, the Saint Paul Area Chamber annually presents Deubener Awards to five organizations that exemplify growth, excellence, risk, diversity and innovation. The Deubeners were the proprietors of a grocery store in downtown Saint Paul and invented the first shopping bag with handles, which increased the store’s business overnight. The couple eventually sold their store and established manufacturing facilities in Saint Paul, with sales in 1919 totaling one million bags.

From the NORTH:
Exit southbound I-35E at Wacouta Street. Go four blocks to Sixth Street. Turn right and go eight blocks to Market Street. Landmark Center is on your left.

From the SOUTH:
Exit northbound I-35E at Kellogg Boulevard. Turn right onto Kellogg. Go four blocks to Market Street. Turn left and go two blocks on Market Street to Fifth Street. Landmark Center is on your left.

From the EAST:
Exit westbound I-94 at Sixth Street, go nine blocks straight ahead to Market Street. Landmark Center is on your left.

From the WEST:
Exit eastbound I-94 at Fifth Street, go straight across Seventh Street and continue to follow Fifth one long block to Washington Street. Landmark Center is on your left.
