Ramsey County
Ramsey County was named in honor of Alexander Ramsey,
the first governor of the Minnesota Territory, the
second mayor of Saint Paul, and the second governor of
the state of Minnesota. He later served as senator and
secretary of war. Ramsey County is made of cities
mostly North of the Capital City of Saint Paul.Population
