32 percent of Saint Paul adults age 25 and older have a bachelor's degree or higher, up from 27 percent in 1990.

Employment
76 percent of all Saint Paul residents age 16 and older are in the workforce, including 65 percent of women.

80 percent of Saint Paul's workers are employees of a private business organization, 15 percent work for the government, and 5 percent are self-employed.

The largest type of employer for Saint Paul workers is "education, health, and social services" (24 percent of workers), followed by manufacturing (13 percent) and professional/ administrative/management services (12 percent).

Median income increased by 12.7 percent over the past decade, after adjusting for inflation.
