Attend the Chamber's August Membership Meeting presented by Wells Fargo for the unique opportunity to hear a keynote address from the President of the University of Minnesota, Eric Kaler. We'll also recognize new members and announce our monthly Celebrate Business Success Award recipient.
All attendees will have the chance to win an autographed football from Coach Kill or two outdoor club seats for the September 8 home opener at 11 a.m.! Don't forget to bring plenty of business cards - this will be your ticket to be entered in the drawing and of course, your gateway to new contacts!
About our Keynote Speaker:
President Kaler is just the second alumnus to become president at the University of Minnesota. When he attended the university, he received his Ph.D. from the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science in 1982.

In addition, he served as an assistant professor and an associate professor of chemical engineering at the University of Washington from 1982 to 1989.
From the University of Washington Kaler became a member of the faculty at the University of Delaware from 1989-2007. At the University of Delaware he served as the chair of the Chemical Engineering Department from 1996 to 2000 and then dean of the College of Engineering from 2000 to 2007.
